Trapped in a Cycle of Self-Doubt and Longing.

As I sit here alone, watching them walk by hand in hand, I can't help but wonder why I'm so afraid to talk to girls. It's not that I don't want to - in fact, I yearn for the connection and intimacy that comes with a meaningful relationship. But the fear of rejection, of being seen as less than, of never being enough, holds me back.

It's like there's a constant battle raging inside me. On the one hand, I crave human connection and the feeling of being understood and appreciated. On the other, I'm paralyzed by the thought of saying the wrong thing or being rejected. So instead, I retreat into myself, hiding behind my fears and hoping that someone will magically see past them and reach out to me.

But deep down, I know that's not how it works. Relationships take effort and vulnerability, and I'm not sure I'm ready for that. I don't know if I'm brave enough to take the risk and put myself out there, to face the possibility of rejection and disappointment. And so I stay stuck in this cycle of fear and longing, watching from the sidelines as others find happiness and connection.

I know I need to work on building my confidence and overcoming my fears, but it's easier said than done. It feels like there's a weight on my chest, suffocating me and making it hard to breathe. I wish I could just be normal, to be able to talk to girls like it's no big deal. But instead, I'm trapped in this cycle of self-doubt and insecurity, wondering if I'll ever be able to break free.

Maybe one day I'll find the courage to take the leap, to put myself out there and see what happens. But until then, I'll keep watching from the sidelines, yearning for something more but too scared to take the risk.
